How do I start?
Exactly as you are. All you have to do is show up. Period. You don't need any previous experience or knowledge of yoga. With just one class you will experience new vitality, power, and freedom as well as new found inspiration to live life to its fullest. We also offer private instruction if you would need any support getting your practice of to a great start!
You do not have to be great to start but you have to start to be great!
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your own mat, towel and water bottle to the studio.
Wear comfortable light weight clothes that move with you. Avoid overly loose clothes that could fall over your head when you bend over. We practice yoga barefoot and leave our shoes outside of the studio.
Is Yoga as vigorous as running or working out at a gym?
ABSOLUTELY!
Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga was designed as peak performance training for NFL players. It has been scientifically studied and proven to meet the criteria of vigorous physical activity according to medical standards.
Journey into Power is the whole package: warm up, aerobic exercise, cardio-respiratory fitness, high intensity interval training, flexibility, muscular strength, mobility, strength training, focus and mindset training, and a relaxing cool down with a caloric burn of 600-900 calories an hour.
Exercise such as lifting weights or running is good for strengthening your muscles and cardiovascular system but can cause imbalances.
Baptiste Power Yoga is a method of working with the body as a whole and will greatly benefit all the athletic pursuits you love.
How many times a week should I practice? Can I do power yoga everyday?
Absolutely, yes you can practice every day. Daily practice has great benefits. You will be working everything the way your body is designed to work and increasing functional flexibility at the same time - everytime. Combine daily power yoga with good eating and results will come quickly.
For good results, 3-4 days a week.
For life-changing results 5-6 days a week.
Are the classes heated? Yes!
Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Classes are held in a room heated to the mid 90’s. This healing heat helps to stretch muscles without injury, and conditions the internal organs to work at optimal efficiency.
If you have tried other heated practices and didn’t like the heat - try our studio. We have researched the perfect formula to safely and enjoyably practice hot yoga.
We use state of the art radiant infrared heaters to keep optimal temperature for your practice, and we circulate fresh air into the room.

Infrared Heat promotes cellular healing and detoxification (4x the detox of non infrared heating,) & it even boosts serotonin - the bodies good cheer hormone!
Therapeutic relief – Our infrared heaters produce radiant heat waves like the sun ~ transferring warmth to the body, gently increasing circulation providing pain relief, anti-inflammation, improved metabolism. You will leave class feeling invigorated and purified - not depleted.
Which class is best to start?
The next one that fits your schedule. All of our classes are appropriate for practitioners of all levels of experience. We offer modifications and variations that allow each student to adjust their practice so they can challenge themselves safely. Our Heated Basics and Deep Stretch classes offer practitioners less heat, a slower pace, and time for new learning and adaptation. Private instruction is also available for individuals or small groups:)
What if I’m not flexible/able to balance/strong…?
All Great reasons to begin a yoga practice ASAP!
Flexibility, balance, strength are not requirements of yoga. They are benefits that come from practicing - as are focus, resilience, mind body connection and so many other tangible life changing results.

What are the studio’s current social distancing procedures?
We hold space and show support to students who opt to wear a mask for any reason.
We have found our students to be extremely diligent when it comes to staying home to care for the whole community. We empower you to do what you feel to be best for yourself, your classmates, and those you care for. Thank you for making this a safe space for all.
