Which class is best to start?

Baptiste Power Yoga is a world leading standard of heated power vinyasa yoga practice. Proven, safe, and accessible to all. This practice consistently produces great results and benefits for students from brand new to all levels of yoga experience. Your body mind and spirit will love this hot challenging & vigorous class! Jump in - we really do mean ALL LEVELS are Welcome:)

We also offer Heated Basics, Deep Stretch, and Baptiste Express classes to complement All Levels Baptiste Classes

Deep Stretch classes offer practitioners gentle heat, a slower pace, and time for clear supported movements that clear space for deep breathing, relaxation and healing.

Heated Basics are a great way to get used to being in the heat, practice proper postural alignment and moving to the breath. Learn exciting variations that make your practice your own and how to modify with safe adaptations.

Baptiste Express is our entire flow in a 45 minute Powerhouse Practice. This class is suited for Advanced Practitioners, who have studied Baptiste Yoga with us for some time and are looking to hone their personal practice.

Our teachers offer modifications and variations that free up each student to adjust their practice to their level of challenge ensuring they grow and nourish themselves moment to moment.

With just one class you will experience new vitality, power, and freedom as well as new found inspiration

You do not have to be great to start but you have to start to be great!

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your own mat, towel and water bottle to the studio. We have rental mats available if you need one:)

& Bring a friend! New Students have a free guest passes to share with whomever they wish. Members get free guest passes to share every month;)

Wear comfortable light weight clothes that move with you. Avoid overly loose clothes that could fall over your head when you bend over. We practice yoga barefoot and leave our shoes outside of the studio.

Be prepared to sweat in our Power Classes! Electrolyte replacement is a good idea.

We have showers and locker rooms for your use too!

Is Yoga a vigorous workout?

ABSOLUTELY!

Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga was designed by Baron Baptiste as peak performance training for NFL players.

It has been scientifically proven to meet the criteria of vigorous physical activity according to medical studies.

Baptiste Power Yoga is the total package!

Whole body fitness: warm up, aerobic exercise, cardio-respiratory fitness, high intensity interval training, flexibility, muscular strength, mobility, strength training, focus and mindset training, plus a relaxing cool down with a caloric burn of 600-900 calories an hour.

What if I’m not flexible?

Flexibility, balance, strength are not requirements of yoga.

They are benefits that come from practicing as are focus, resilience, mind body connection and so many other tangible life changing results.

The heat really helps with flexibility, range of motion, and aids tight sore muscles!

Our Heated Basics and Deep Stretch classes offer practitioners less heat, a slower pace, and time for new learning and adaptation.

Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Classes are held in a room heated to the high 90’s. This healing heat helps to stretch muscles without injury, and conditions the internal organs to work at optimal efficiency. State of the art radiant heat creates the optimal temperature for your practice, and we circulate fresh air into the room.

Infrared Heat promotes cellular healing and detoxification (4x the detox of non infrared heating,) & it boosts serotonin - the bodies good cheer hormone!

Our Therapeutic infrared heaters produce radiant heat waves like the sun ~ transferring warmth to the body, gently increasing circulation providing pain relief, anti-inflammation, improved metabolism. I really enjoy this location. People are friendly and welcoming. I also like that it's a smaller space that doesn't get over crowded like a lot of other places around. Hidden gem feel to it. I'm glad I tried them out. Looking forward to more classes here.

Great pace, cues and heat.

I enjoyed this energetic class! The flow was perfect and Michelle focused on form, providing me with valuable feedback. Her assists were amazing - I did a wheel for the first time ever! I will definitely be back. What a great way to start the weekend!

Amazing studio. The teacher was very wise.

I love this studio with a passion. Every single one of the instructors are so knowledgeable, kind, and always ready to offer you modifications, if it's extending your practice or if you need an easier pose. They try their best to remember your name. I couldn't ask for more out of a yoga studio.

With my 30 new post-pandemic pounds and the fact that I haven’t been doing much (any) hot yoga for over a year, I really appreciated Rachel’s care and attention in this class. She made sure to give time in the poses, offer options (and lovely anatomical cues!), and give space for whatever version of the pose (or child’s pose) we were in. It was also such a fun practice and she had a great chill energy.

Tammy was awesome! Hardcore but gentle. I look forward to going back! 🤸🏼‍♀️

It was so nice being back in the studio again for the 12 week session. I hope to go back again in the spring. The atmosphere that Patty has created is welcoming and beautiful. The infrared heat panels really heat your body so you can do all the poses! Good job
